Scarecrows in the Village
Monday, September 5 – Monday, October 31
Our annual Scarecrows in the Village competition and display is back for its 43rd year! Stroll our winding brick pathways lined with more than 100 colorful and creative scarecrows carefully constructed by Philly-area residents. Vote for your favorites to help them win cash prizes! Voting ends October 10.
Scarecrows in the Village Kickoff Weekend
Saturday, September 10 and Sunday, September 11
Join us for our Kickoff to Scarecrows in the Village! We’ll have a weekend packed with live entertainment, from Lolly & Friends to the Daisy Jug Band, family activities, including our scarecrow-making workshops, and a free outdoor showing of “The Wizard of Oz” (Saturday). Plus, meet with Alysa Bainbridge – Miss Pennsylvania 2022 – who will be hosting a trivia game prior to the movie! From 1-3pm on Sunday, join us for square dancing with the Long Hill String Band! Scarecrow-Making Workshops
Saturdays September 10, 17, 24, and Sunday, September 11
Our annual scarecrow-making workshops are a family favorite here at Peddler’s Village! When you reserve your space, you’ll be provided a designated circle for your family (up to 6 people), straw, clothing, materials, and step-by-step instructions to make a scarecrow of your very own! Walk-ins are welcome, however, based on availability.
Outdoor Movie Nights
Saturdays September 10 and 24
Pack your picnic blankets and friends and meet us on the Street Road Green this month for our free outdoor movie nights! Taking place on select Saturdays, we’ll be showing the classic film, The Wizard of Oz, on September 10, and on September 24, join us for Ghostbusters: Afterlife. The movies will begin around dusk, or approximately 7:30 p.m.
Prior to the start of The Wizard of Oz, Miss Pennsylvania 2022, Alysa Bainbridge, will welcome the audience and host a trivia segment!
Autumn Wedding Show
Sunday, September 18, 12-2:30 p.m.
Recently engaged and in search of a picture-perfect, all season wedding destination? Then look no further than Peddler’s Village! Join us for our free Autumn Wedding Show on Sunday, September 18 at the Cock’n Bull. Tour the event spaces, meet with our talented event planning team and local vendors, and sample complimentary hors d’oeuvres, beverages, and desserts.
Comedy in the Village
Friday, September 23, 8 p.m.
Join us for the next Comedy in the Village on Friday, September 23! This month’s show will welcome two headlining comedians who will have you laughing the night away. The show will take place indoors at the Peddler’s Pub.
Food Truck Thursday
Thursday, September 29, 4-8 p.m.
Mark your calendar for our last Food Truck Thursday of the season! Meet us on the Street Road Green for fantastic food from 10 of your favorite area food trucks, from BBQ to lobster rolls, live entertainment, and plenty of family fun!
