We’re gearing up for a spooktacular season here at Peddler’s Village! From Halloween parties for young ghouls and adult goblins, to a pumpkin-carving contest (new for 2022!), we have plenty of fun fall activities and happenings this October.
Scarecrows in the Village
Through October 31
Our annual Scarecrows in the Village competition and display is back for its 43rd year! Stroll our winding brick pathways lined with more than 100 colorful and creative scarecrows carefully constructed by Philly-area residents. Vote for your favorites to help them win cash prizes! Voting ends October 10.
OctoberFeast
Saturday & Sunday, October 15 & 16
Grab your stein and join us for OctoberFeast, a weekend featuring food trucks, beer garden, live entertainment, and family activities.
Scarecrow Shuffle
October 16
Join us for the return of the Scarecrow Shuffle at Peddler’s Village! Celebrate spooky season with a 8K, 5K, or fun run while you admire over 100 creative scarecrows on display through the autumn-tinted Village! This event is organized by Scoogie Events. Register
Outdoor Movie Night: “Hocus Pocus”
October 22
Join us for a free outdoor screening of “Hocus Pocus” (PG) on Saturday evening, October 22. Bring your chairs, picnic blankets, and your friends for a spooky movie under the stars! The movie will be shown on the Street Road Green at dusk (7 pm). Please note: The movie is free, but donations to Pine2Pink, which benefits local breast cancer patients, are encouraged! Pumpkin-Carving Contest
On display October 25 – 30 | Deadline to enter: October 19
New for 2022, the Pumpkin-Carving Contest at Peddler’s Village begins Tuesday, October 25! Show off your pumpkin carving skills for a chance to win cash prizes up to $150! The creatively-carved pumpkins will be on display through Sunday, October 30. Entries are due by Wednesday, October 19 at 5pm; pumpkins must be dropped off by 6pm on Monday, October 24. Learn More
Ghostly Graveyard Gathering (21+)
Friday, October 28 from 6:30-10:00pm
It’s time to turn up the “Monster Mash” and dance the night away at our Ghostly Graveyard Gathering! This adults-only party will feature a live DJ playing all of your favorite spooky songs, club-style dancing, fire pits, games, photos, and more! Enjoy pay-as-you-go food trucks and a cash bar. Slightly Batty Halloween Wing-Ding (for Kids!)
Saturday, October 29 from 12-3pm
Show off your spookiest costume at the Peddler’s Village Slightly Batty Halloween Wing-Ding! Explore our haunted grounds, take part in games such as pumpkin bowling and musical chairs, and show off your wildest moves at a spooky dance party!
