The holidays are right around the corner, and we’re gearing up for a very holly jolly season here at Peddler’s Village!
Between our Grand Illumination Celebration, breakfasts with Santa, and Holly Jolly Weekend, the Village becomes an extra magical place in just a few short weeks, so break out your festive sweaters, grab your shopping list, and make plans to visit us this holiday season.
And remember: While our seasonal events are certainly fun and exciting, one of the best reasons to visit Peddler’s Village during the holidays is to explore our 60+ specialty shops and boutiques! You’ll find unique gifts for everyone on your list (and you’ll be supporting many locally owned businesses as well).
Holiday Events
Kickoff to the Holidays
November 11; 6-8 p.m.
Celebrate the season at our Kickoff to the Holidays at Giggleberry Fair! Kids can meet-and-greet with Mrs. Claus, write a letter to Santa, and make a holiday craft with Santa’s elves, and so much more. The Kickoff to the Holidays is free, just don’t forget to bring your holiday cheer!
Grand Illumination Celebration
November 18; Lights switch on at 6:15 p.m. sharp
Experience the magic at Peddler’s Village when one million twinkling lights are switched on by Santa and Mrs. Claus at our 22nd annual Grand Illumination Celebration! Enjoy musical and dance performances, and stop by the Visitor & Event Center to see over 75 colorful and creative gingerbread creations. Holiday lights will be on display every evening through January 8, 2023.
Merchants Open House
November 18 – November 20
Stop by 60+ locally owned specialty and boutique shops and preview fantastic gift-giving ideas at our Merchants Open House! Find the perfect gifts, from apparel and accessories to home goods, fine art, toys, and more when you shop small and support local at Peddler’s Village.
Gingerbread Competition & Display
November 18 – January 8, 2023
A holiday tradition since 1984, stop by the Visitor & Event Center to see over 75 gingerbread creations on display for our annual Gingerbread Competition & Display! Enjoy the sweet scents of gingerbread while you feast your eyes on colorful and creative gingerbread creations in 8 different categories.

Saturdays & Sundays, November 19 – December 18
Our elves have transformed Giggleberry Fair into a Holiday Wonderland just in time for Santa’s arrival! Beat the crowds at the mall and head over to Giggleberry Fair for your Photos with Santa set amongst garland and glitter on Saturdays from 12-5 p.m. and Sundays from 12-4 p.m.
Thanksgiving Dining
November 24
Gather your family and friends and join us for a Thanksgiving feast at the Cock ’n Bull and Earl’s New American. Enjoy a fabulous selection of Thanksgiving favorites, including a carving station, autumn-inspired sides, desserts, and more at the annual Harvest Buffet at the Cock ’n Bull, and a la carte Thanksgiving classics at Earl’s New American. Holiday Hustle Fun Run
December 1
Get ready to spread some holiday cheer at the Holiday Hustle Fun Run presented by Scoogie Events! Register for either a 2-mile or 1-mile run/jog/walk through a Village illuminated by a million holiday lights.
Holly Jolly Weekend
December 3 & 4
Celebrate the holiday season at our Holly Jolly Weekend on Saturday, December 3 and Sunday, December 4! Enjoy Santa Parades starting at 1:30 pm both days, plus live entertainment and special guest appearances. Free admission and parking.
Breakfast with Santa at Giggleberry Fair (SOLD OUT)
Sundays, December 4, 11, & 18
Kick off the Christmas season with a delicious breakfast with Santa and Mrs. Claus! Enjoy a buffet-style breakfast, storytime with Mrs. Claus, special treats, a $5 game card, and time to play at Giggleberry Mountain, the Grand Carousel and Giggles Discovers. Reservations required.
Brunch with Santa at Cock ‘n Bull Restaurant (SOLD OUT)
Saturday, December 17
Jingles the Elf will welcome guests, including Santa and Mrs. Claus, for a delicious brunch and fun-filled event featuring story time, Christmas magic, a sing-along with Santa, and craft-making. Reservations required.
