Our annual scarecrow-making workshop on the Street Road Green has been a family favorite for years!
Construct a life-size scarecrow to take home. You will be provided with step-by-step instructions, plenty of straw, and a pre-made kit containing clothing, and decorations. Reserve your space today: workshops fill up quickly!
Workshop Dates & Times
Saturday & Sunday, September 16 & 17
Time Sessions: 9:30 AM, 11:30 AM, and 1:30 PM (Each time session is 90 minutes)
Saturday, September 23

Time Sessions: 11:30 AM & 1:30 PM
Workshop Fee: $40 (+ tax)
Fee includes a bale of straw, and a kit to build one scarecrow. Maximum 6 people per booking.
Walk-ins
Online reservations will be shut down at 4:00PM the day before a workshop. Walk-ins are welcome on the day of the workshop if there is enough space to safely accommodate your group.
Food Drive
September 11 – October 29
Peddler’s Village will be collecting non-perishable food items which will be donated to the Bucks County Housing Group, a non-profit dedicated to ending food and housing insecurity within our community. Donations can be dropped off at the Visitor & Event Center, Buttonwood Grill, Cock ‘n Bull Restaurant, Earl’s New American, and Giggleberry Fair during normal shopping hours.
For every three (3) cans donated to the Visitor & Event Center, receive a free pumpkin painting voucher valid on Saturdays, September 23 and 30
Age Restriction
All ages welcome. Children ages 13 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
Cancellation Policy
Tickets purchased for Scarecrow workshop at Peddler’s Village are non-refundable. If you cannot attend your reserved date, please call 215-794-4051 at least 3 days prior to your reserved date to reschedule your reservation to a time slot. Peddler’s Village reserves the right to cancel three (3) days prior to Scarecrow workshop due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. You will be given the option to reschedule to a later show date or be refunded the ticket cost in full.
Workshop time
Please arrive by 15 minutes before your time slot start time. Check-in is at the red barn field.
Photography
Please note that Peddler’s Village regularly photographs events held on its property and periodically publishes these photographs on our website and on our social media channels. Media outlets might also take photographs and/or videos that will be broadcast publicly. It is possible the published photos or videos could include you and/or family members. Attendance at our events implies permission for us and other entities to include you in any photographs shared on any public platforms, digital or otherwise.
