Plan a Fall Getaway
From free festivals to fun family activities, Peddler’s Village is the perfect destination for a fall getaway! From September 11 to October 29, visitors can enjoy a competitive display of over 100 scarecrows, all made by Philly area residents and organizations. September 16 and 17 bring Scarecrow Festival, which is a fun-packed weekend of live music, festive activities, including scarecrow-making workshops, food trucks, and more! On the weekend of October 14 and 15, enjoy a variety of delicious eats and a beer garden at our 7th annual OctoberFeast.
Giggleberry Fair, our award-winning family fun center, is the perfect place to enjoy a bite to eat and have a ton of fun! Ride our restored antique carousel, climb Giggleberry Mountain, play dozens of arcade games, and if you have little ones in tow, don’t miss the Giggles Discovers toddler exploration area. The Painted Pony Cafe also offers a fantastic menu of pizza, sandwiches, salads, desserts, and drinks (including beer and wine for adults!).

What’s Happening…
For seven scary weeks, Peddler’s Village will be adorned with over 100 handmade scarecrows! Scarecrows in the Village is a free display running from September 11 through October 29, and guests are encouraged to vote on their favorite festive creation. Winners receive cash prizes!
Enjoy a weekend of family fun at our Scarecrow Festival on September 16 & 17! We’ll have live music, food trucks, scarecrow-making workshops, pumpkin painting, and more. Festivities run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days, and Peddler’s Village shops will be open until 8 p.m. on Saturday. Free admission and parking. Rain or shine.
If you were unable to build-your-own scarecrow during our Scarecrow Festival weekend, you can still join us on September 23 & 30 at our scarecrow-making workshops. You will be provided with step-by-step instructions, plenty of straw, and a pre-made kit containing clothing, and decorations. Reserve your space today: workshops fill up quickly!
October 14 & 15 bring our annual OctoberFeast, a weekend featuring live music, food trucks, family activities, and more! Grab your stein, sip, and stroll our beer garden. Free admission and parking. Rain or shine.
Showcase your creative carving skills in our Pumpkin-Carving Contest! Admission to the display is free and will be housed at the Visitor & Event Center from October 24 through October 29. Prizes will be awarded to the best entries!
Peddler’s Village will be hosting two haunting Halloween parties! We invite adults to join us at our Ghostly Graveyard Gala on Friday, October 27. Come costumed and ready to dance, sit by a warm firepit, and have your palm read by a psychic! Bring the kids on Saturday, October 28 to the Slightly Batty Halloween Wing-Ding, where they can participate in a costume contest, fun games, festive crafts, and more!
Mark your calendars for our 48th annual Apple Festival on Saturday and Sunday, November 4 & 5! Enjoy a weekend of fall family fun packed with live musical performances, activities, outdoor food and drinks, and plenty of apple treats and eats! Free admission and parking.
