Current weather conditions—warmer weather and melting snow—will impact our weekend parking capacity on Saturday, December 20 and Sunday, December 21.
Unpaved areas will be unusable, as cars could get stuck in thick mud. Only half of our designated parking areas will be safe and accessible.
What does this mean for our visitors?
Here’s what we recommend if you are planning to visit this weekend:
- Arrive early on Saturday or Sunday morning
- Use Uber for transportation instead of driving
- Car pool whenever possible
- Be prepared to find alternative parking arrangements, which cannot include nearby neighborhoods or private parking areas. Municipal and public parking lots can be found in New Hope and Doylestown. Once parked, book an Uber to bring you to Peddler’s Village.
- Limited parking will be available at Buckingham Friends School located at 5684 York Road, Lahaska, PA. The school is in close proximity to Peddler’s Village.
- Paid parking (using ParkMobile) will be available at the New Hope-Solebury High School located at 180 W. Bridge Street, New Hope, PA. The high school is four miles from Peddler’s Village.
- Do NOT park in muddy areas. We cannot assist you if your car gets stuck.
- Be patient and kind. We welcome many visitors on holiday weekends and want everyone to have a festive, pleasant, and memorable experience.
Alternatively, please consider these options:
- Plan to visit Peddler’s Village on a weekday or weeknight instead, when there are fewer cars and visitors.
- Plan to visit after December 25. We are open every day, with adjusted hours for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
Most importantly: Thank you sincerely for supporting Peddler’s Village. It means the world to us.
Be safe and well this holiday season!
