A holiday tradition since 1984, the Gingerbread House Competition and Display is in full swing this year, even though the setup– created with safety in mind– is different than in years past. The gingerbread entries are better than ever, with 125 creations on display. Many of them are stunning! (One of them was even featured in an international publication.)
If you can’t see them firsthand or prefer not to visit in person right now, don’t worry! We’ve created a virtual display for your enjoyment. Click on the arrow to begin the video.
If you are considering a visit to see the display in person, scroll down for the viewing details.
Peddler’s Village 2020 Gingerbread Competition and Display
November 19, 2020 – January 9, 2021
Admission is free. Weekday and weekday evening visits are strongly encouraged.
Where: Shop #1, in the Courtyard neighborhood (near Earl’s New American)
When: Monday-Saturday: 10 am to 8:30 pm; Sunday: 11 am to 6:30 pm
What you need to know: Safety measures are in place. A limit of 10 guests are admitted into the space for 10 minutes to view the Gingerbread Display. Guests must wear masks covering mouths and noses and are asked to adhere to social distancing guidelines. Lines and wait times can be long on weekends.
Please note: We are truly sorry, but the only space we had to house the display this year (for safety reasons) is not accessible to those in wheelchairs, on scooters, in strollers, or with mobility issues. We produced the video to create a virtual experience that is accessible to all.
