One million twinkling holiday lights, 60+ locally owned shops, cozy restaurants, and a charming on-property inn with rooms conveniently located throughout the Village… sounds like the perfect place to spend a magical evening in beautiful Bucks County, doesn’t it? While Peddler’s Village has been compared to the picturesque small towns in Hallmark movies, it’s certainly a real place, and with it being such a short drive from Philadelphia, you can easily experience the magic of the season when you plan your visit by January 8, 2023.
When you first arrive:
Peddler’s Village shops open at 10 a.m. Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. on Sunday. Start your day by stopping in locally owned boutique and specialty shops throughout the scenic Village. Find everything from clothing and accessories, to housewares, fine art, toys, pet supplies, and so much more.
Pro tip: The Gingerbread Competition & Display, located at the Visitor & Event Center on Street Road, also opens the same time shops do! Beat the rush and stop in when you first arrive at the Village. The display ends January 8.
Afternoon plans:
There are 15 restaurants, eateries, and tasting rooms festively decorated for the holidays at Peddler’s Village. Cozy up with friends and family for a fabulous sit-down meal or order a quick bite (& a sweet treat!) from one of the locally owned eateries.
With more than 60 shops, you’ll need all afternoon to stop in your favorites! Whether you’re looking for the perfect gift for your special someone, or hoping to treat yourself this holiday season, the shops at Peddler’s Village have you covered.
Shops close at 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 7 p.m. on Sunday, so there’s plenty of time to stop in before and after dinner.
Pro tip: If you have young children in tow, visit Giggleberry Fair – the family fun center located at Peddler’s Village! Enjoy a carousel ride, climb Giggleberry Mountain, and play super fun arcade games before you enjoy a slice of pizza or an ice cream cone from the Painted Pony Cafe.
An evening in the Village:
One million holiday lights switch on at approximately 4:30 p.m. every day. Stroll our winding brick pathways from shop to shop, dine at one of our restaurants, and cozy up in one of the charming rooms or suites at the Golden Plough Inn. (Don’t forget to take advantage of fabulous overnight stay packages! )
Pro tip: Grab a hot chocolate, festive beer, glass of warmed wine, or a spiked cider from one of the tasting rooms while you stroll an illuminated Village.
