Our restaurants and Golden Plough Inn will remain open through Sunday as we have commitments for events for our guests. Giggleberry Fair is now closed.

*****

The safety and protection of our guests and employees are of paramount concern to everyone at Peddler’s Village. Unlike many destinations, we are fortunate to have a lot of outdoor space where our guests can enjoy fresh, country air and social distancing! But we are taking extra precautions to ensure sanitation and cleanliness in the Village. Here’s what we are doing:

Village-wide

  • We are communicating regularly with the Bucks County Department of Health and monitoring all updates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
  • We are encouraging any employees with symptoms of illness to stay home until they are well and to seek medical advice.
  • We encourage guests who have a fever, cough, and/or shortness of breath to stay at home and seek medical advice before visiting Peddler’s Village.
  • We are instructing and monitoring employees regularly to ensure they personally practice recommended preventative measures, including frequent and vigorous handwashing and routine, thorough laundering of clothing.
  • We are working with guests who are ill or who are hesitant to attend public events to reschedule reservations for murder mystery shows and other ticketed events presented by Peddler’s Village.
  • We recognize that the situation will evolve over the next few weeks. We are monitoring the evolving situation and will determine soon how we approach our spring festivals. The first Peddler’s Village festival of the year, Spring FunFest, is currently scheduled for April 18 and 19, 2020.
  • We encourage our guests to follow CDC guidelines regarding special health considerations as well.

Peddler’s Village Restaurants

  • We are cleaning and sanitizing our restaurant and banquet spaces throughout the day and every evening with CDC-recommended cleaning solutions. This includes the Cock ‘n Bull Restaurant and upstairs banquet space used for meetings/events and murder mystery dinner shows, Earl’s New American Restaurant and upstairs banquet space, the Buttonwood Grill, Hart’s Tavern, Peddler’s Pub (open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays), and the Painted Pony Café at Giggleberry Fair. Our independently owned restaurants in the Village are adopting the same safety measures.
  • We are scheduling extra cleanings throughout the day and evening for all restrooms, including restaurant restrooms.
  • We are ordering hand sanitizer dispensers to be placed at restaurant entrances.
  • As always, our restaurants and bathrooms are throughly cleaned every night by a licensed, insured professional cleaning company.
  • We are offering take-out dining at Earl’s New American, Buttonwood Grill, and Hart’s Tavern. To order, please call the restaurants directly.
  • We have temporarily suspended our Sunday brunches at the Cock ‘n Bull until further notice. Instead, the restaurant will open at 11 a.m. and guests can order from the regular a la carte menu.
  • If guests do not want to handle printed menus, we encourage them to view menus found online for each restaurant on PeddlersVillage.com/dine.

Golden Plough Inn

  • We are cleaning and sanitizing all hotel rooms after guests depart and before new guests arrive as per our usual practices. We are regularly cleaning and sanitizing all public areas of the hotel.
  • We have hired additional staff to ensure continuous cleaning of hotel spaces.
  • We are working with guests to reschedule their visits if they are ill or hesitant to travel now because of the coronavirus threat.

Giggleberry Fair

  • We just finished deep cleaning Giggleberry Mountain. All areas in Giggleberry Fair, including the Painted Pony Café, are cleaned and sanitized throughout the day and every evening.

Again, we value tremendously the health of our guests and employees, and thank everyone connected with Peddler’s Village for adhering to the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation, especially during this time of widespread anxiety. If you have any questions, please call our Hospitality Center at 215-794-4000 between 9 am and 5 pm, and the staff will direct you to the appropriate source of information.

Thank you!
