Life moves pretty fast: bum a ride and bring a bud to Peddler’s Village for a screening under the stars of “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” (PG-13) on Thursday, September 17. Bring chairs, picnic blankets, and an appreciation for impromptu monologues. The movie will be shown on the Red Barn Field. Check-in open at 7:00 p.m. The movie starts at dusk (around 7:30 p.m.).

Safety Measures

The audience will be divided into Family Circles, which are distanced 6 ft. apart. One Family Circle holds up to six people and can be purchased for $30 (includes popcorn and water). Necessary CDC protocols followed. Bathroom facilities available. Masks required when not sitting in the Family Circle.

Ferris Bueller (Matthew Broderick) has an uncanny skill at cutting classes and getting away with it. Intending to make one last duck-out before graduation, Ferris calls in sick, “borrows” a Ferrari, and embarks on a one-day journey through the streets of Chicago. On Ferris’ trail is high school principal Rooney (Jeffrey Jones), determined to catch him in the act.
