Gingerbread Competition & Display

A holiday tradition since 1984!
The Gingerbread Competition & Display at Peddler’s Village is a feast for the eyes with more than 100 creative and whimsical entries crafted by the public in eight different categories:
- Traditional Holiday Gingerbread House
- Incredibly Unusual 3-Dimensional Gingerbread Creation
- Reproduction of a Movie or TV set
- Holly Jolly
- Teen Gingerbread Creation (Ages 12-17)
- Youth Gingerbread Creation (Ages 9-11)
- KIDS ONLY! Gingerbread (Ages 8 & under)
- Professional Gingerbread
The gingerbread entries will be on exhibit during shopping hours from November 15 through January 19, 2025 in the Visitor & Event Center. Admission is free.
People’s Choice Prize: Guests can vote for their favorite gingerbread entry from November 15-December 2! (Criteria: Best Use of Color, Best Use of Sprinkles, Most Innovative Structure, and Holiday Spirit). The winner will be announced on December 6 and win a dinner for four at Cock ‘n Bull Restaurant.
Plan your visit
- Weekday and weekday evening visits are strongly encouraged. Lines and wait times can be long on weekends.
- Strollers must be left outside.
- No food or drink.
- No animals (unless a certified service animal).
- Please do not touch the items on display.
- Guests must be in line 30 minutes before closing and vacate the building at closing time.
