This summer, step into the uproarious world of Catskills: The Golden Age of Comedy, a one-man tour de force starring Philadelphia’s own Tony Braithwaite. Braithwaite channels the legendary humor of Borscht Belt icons such as Mel Brooks, Joan Rivers, Rodney Dangerfield, George Burns, and more. With impeccable timing and a twinkle in his eye, Braithwaite masterfully delivers rapid-fire one-liners and classic routines that pay homage to the golden era of stand-up comedy.

Accompanied by the talented pianist Dan Matarazzo, Braithwaite weaves together hilarious impersonations, audience anecdotes, and nostalgic nods to the Catskills region. Whether you’re reminiscing about summers in the mountains or discovering these comedic legends for the first time, Catskills: The Golden Age of Comedy promises laughter from start to finish.

When

Friday, August 22
Doors open at 5:30 pm. Dinner seating will be at 6:00 pm, followed by the performance at 7:30 pm. The show runs 70 minutes. There is no intermission.

Cancellation Policy

Tickets purchased for Catskills: The Golden Age of Comedy at Peddler’s Village are non-refundable. If you cannot attend your reserved date, please call 215-794-4037 at least 7 days prior to your reserved date. We will attempt to reschedule your reservation. Peddler’s Village reserves the right to cancel show dates.

Note: Guests will not receive physical tickets for this event. A completed purchase registers guests automatically for the event and guests can check-in with their names. Your email receipt serves as proof of purchase but guests do not need to present it at the performance.

Seating

Seating will be determined by Peddler’s Village. Please note that parties fewer than ten will share a table with other attendees. If you would like to sit with another party specifically, please include the name of that party in the dedicated section located on the upcoming Checkout page.

Accessibility
Shows will be held in the second floor banquet rooms of Cock ‘n Bull Restaurant, which are accessible by both elevator and staircase.
