Peddler’s Village, a landmark shopping, dining, and entertainment destination in the rural heart of historic Bucks County, PA, will kick off its 41st annual scarecrow season on Wednesday, September 9 with Scarecrows in the Village, a property-wide display of scarecrows created by individuals and organizations in the greater Philadelphia region. The open-air Scarecrows in the Village display will be on view every day through October 31. Safety measures are in place, and admission and parking for the Scarecrows in the Village display are free.

What’s happening this weekend (October 24 and 25)?

  • Live music from Galena Brass in the Gazebo from noon to 3 pm on Saturday and outside the Cock ‘n Bull outdoor dining tent from noon to 3 pm on Sunday

OCTOBER

Instead of our annual OctoberFeast weekend, this year we will be presenting a month-long OctoberFeast featuring German-themed food and beverages every day in Peddler’s Village restaurants, and live entertainment on weekends. As always, admission and parking are free. Safety measures are in place to protect guests and employees.

Murder Mystery Walking Tours
Outdoor murder mystery walking tour events will be presented every weekend. “Homicide and Hauntings” will be featured in October and early November. Admission for the walking tours is $25 and includes a 10% dining discount on the event day at Buttonwood Grill, Earl’s New American, Hart’s Tavern, and the Cock ‘n Bull.

Comedy Under the Stars
Looking for laughs? We’ve got ’em! On October 16, Comedy Under the Stars will feature three comedians. Socially distanced circles that can accommodate two people are $35 each.

Outdoor Movie Night
Jump in the line at Peddler’s Village for a spooky screening under the stars of “Beetlejuice” (PG) on Thursday, October 29. Socially distanced circles that can accommodate up to six people are $30 each. Purchase tickets.

Dining Specials
Every day throughout October, German-themed food and beverages will be featured at Peddler’s Village restaurants. On weekends, visit the outdoor Water Wheel Food Tent for made-to-order sandwiches, burgers, and more.

A portion of proceeds from every Prickly Pear Margarita sold will be donated to Pine2Pink, a local nonprofit that benefits local breast care patients.

Scarecrows in the Village will be on display morning, day, and evening through Halloween on October 31. Be sure to see them all!

Please note: We will not be hosting our annual Trick or Treat event this year in Peddler’s Village. However, we encourage costume-wearing through the Village if you choose to visit during the Halloween weekend! As always, we ask guests to abide by the safety procedures in place.


Scarecrows in the Village

The 41st annual scarecrow display in Peddler’s Village will continue daily through Sunday, October 31. The Village-wide display showcase more than 100 creative, colorful, larger-than-life scarecrows created by the public in the following categories: Traditional, Quite the Character, Thrills with Chills, Myth & Lore, Pink Out!, and Kids Only.
