This 1950s prom has gone from doo-wop to drop dead!
When a dead body hits the dance floor, this sock hop turns into one serious party foul. Now it’s up to you to crack the case before this prom becomes a complete bust. Keep your eyes peeled, swap clues with your fellow hep cats, and unmask the killer before that no-good punk give you the slip. There’ll be laughs, dancing, and enough twists to make your pompadour spin.
Dress to impress! Dolls: fluff up those poodle skirts or slip into a puffy-sleeved prom gown. Gents: look sharp with a leather or letterman’s jacket or skinny tie and suit worthy of the king of the hop.
Please note: Parties of fewer than ten people will likely be seated with others. The guests at each table will work together to solve the mystery. Part of the fun of this event is meeting and talking with new people. After the event, you just might add new friendships to the list of evening accomplishments!

Important notes
- Some adult humor. Guests should be 18 and over.
- Guests are encouraged, but not required, to wear 1950s clothing and costumes. Some ideas:
- A swingy poodle skirt, polka dot dress or tucked-in button-up blouse with a fitted cardigan
- Leather or Letterman jacket
- High ponytail tied with a scarf / slicked back hair
- Accessories such as a neck scarf, cat-eye glasses, a wide cinch belt, bobby socks with saddle shoes
- This is designed as an interactive mystery in which guests are encouraged, but not required, to pose questions to actors and suspects to solve the mystery
CANCELLATION POLICY
This event is rain or shine. Tickets purchased for Murder Mystery Events at Peddler’s Village are non-refundable. If you cannot attend your reserved date, please call 215-794-4037 at least 4 days prior to your reserved date to reschedule your reservation to a later show. Peddler’s Village reserves the right to cancel show dates. Bookings for murder mystery guests at the Golden Plough Inn are also non-refundable unless cancelled at least four days in advance.
Note: Guests will not receive physical tickets for this event. A completed purchase registers guests automatically for the event and guests can check-in with their names. Your email receipt serves as proof of purchase but guests do not need to present it at the performance.
Seating
Seating is general admission. Please note that parties fewer than ten will share a table with other attendees. Please put seating preferences in the appropriate box at checkout, and we will try and accommodate your request.
Dietary Restrictions

Accessibility
Shows will be held in the second floor banquet rooms of Cock ‘n Bull Restaurant, which are accessible by both elevator and staircase. Please call our Reservation Manager at 215-794-4037 from 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. for more information.
