Scarecrows in the Village Kickoff Weekend

Scarecrows in the Village Kickoff Weekend on Saturday, September 10 and Sunday, September 11, is a weekend of fall family fun including scarecrow-making workshops, pumpkin painting, live musical entertainment and children’s activities. The event hours are 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. on both days. Peddler’s Village shops will be open until 8 p.m. on Saturday. Admission and parking are free. Event is rain or shine.

While you’re enjoying the weekend, stroll around to see the Scarecrows in the Village, showcasing creative and colorful scarecrows designed by members of the public. The scarecrows are on outdoor display from Monday, September 5 through Sunday, October 31. The public is invited to vote for the winners for the first three weeks of the contest. Vote through our mobile app or by paper ballots (available in all shops, Visitor & Event Center, Cock ‘n Bull Restaurant, Giggleberry Fair, and Buttonwood Grill).
