Five years ago, LEE Industries—a North Carolina-based furniture manufacturer—launched national “LEE Loves Local” campaign to promote small-town retailers and broaden the awareness of sustainability. Since then, LEE has partnered with Traditional Home magazine to spotlight annually one dealer in the United States that represents the value and contributions of small businesses that make a difference in their communities and beyond. This year, LEE selected Left Bank Home in Peddler’s Village.

To mark the occasion, LEE Industries and Traditional Home will present “Love is in the Air,” a special event at Left Bank Home, on Saturday, February 23 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Featuring local small business alliances with Gather Flower Shop, Chive Café, Chocolate in the Oven and photographer Bill Brokaw as well as local artists Gordon Haas and Eric & Christopher, Left Bank Home will present an afternoon of live music, French champagne and martinis, French-inspired hors d’oeuvres, and sweets. The public is invited to attend.

At 1 p.m., there will be a panel discussion: “Design vs. Lifestyle: The Evolution of Decorative Aesthetics and the Way We Live.“ Participants will include Traditional Home Senior Style Editor Krissa Rossbund, top designers Eddie Ross and Rajni Alex, and Left Bank Home owner Molly Kirchhoff. Admission is free but seating for the panel discussion is limited. Reservations are encouraged and can be made online.
