WHAT THE JUDGES LOOK FOR IN A WINNER
Here's the inside scoop on how judges look at your entry! The quality and detailing you do is given extraordinary attention. The overall appearance, use of color, and quilting technique are also important. The judges will make sure you have adhered to all the rules.

Points are deducted for infractions. Examples:
If you choose a pattern on which to model your traditional entry and it does not fit the spaces it is designed to fill...or, if you forget to pay as much attention to the binding, backing and borders of the quilt, as you do to the body. Please make sure you have read all the rules.
