" The inspiration and motivation behind my recent paintings was instilled during the formative years I spent growing up in Bucks County. After traveling extensively throughout the United States and Europe and living in several different states, I have returned to my home region and have made its’ landscape the subject of my creative focus.  My suburban childhood landscape visually left me feeling a void of stimulation.  However, the 200 year old farmhouse which stood in the center of my neighborhood, which I only stepped foot in once, inspired a lifetime of fascination with the history of this region.  Today, I seek out the places that intrigued me as a child, the small historic towns richly layered with diverse architecture."
