Karen Thompson was recently honored by the Bucks County Women’s Business Forum as the first recipient of the 2007 Most Inspiring Woman Business Owner of the Year.

Karen Thompson realized that women desired quality, comfortable foundations and sleepwear at a good value. In 1988 from this realization Lace Silhouettes Lingerie® was born (which has now grown to 10 stores located in Princeton, NJ, Cape May, NJ, Long Beach Island, NJ, Stone Harbor, NJ and Bethesda, MD).  Bridging the gap between intimate lingerie and comfortable sleepwear, Lace Silhouettes Lingerie® provides the atmosphere and excellent customer service of a small boutique with the value and selection of a larger department store. This commitment to customer service and the ability to understand the customer’s needs and the desire to meet and exceed those needs has allowed Lace Silhouettes Lingerie® to achieve unparalleled success within the world of women’s retail lingerie and sleepwear.

Karen also gives back to the community and has helped support over 25 local charities this past year alone. Lace Silhouettes has also sponsored events that have become a tradition over the last 19 years, such as in-store Spa Days and Men’s night.
