August 28, 2006&amp;hellip;Scare up some fun at the Peddler&amp;rsquo;s Village 28th Annual Scarecrow Festival, Saturday, September 16 and Sunday, September 17, 10 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Free admission and parking. Rain or shine. Enjoy festival activities including Scarecrow-Making Workshops, Pumpkin Pie Eating Contests, Pumpkin Painting, live musical acts and family entertainment throughout the weekend. The Scarecrow-Making Workshops will take place both days of the festival on the Street Road Green at 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Peddler&amp;rsquo;s Village staff will teach you to create a unique, life-sized scarecrow to take home and display.
