JAZZ UP YOUR WEEKEND AT THE 23RD ANNUAL PEDDLER'S VILLAGE FINE ARTS AND CONTEMPORARY CRAFTS SHOW

(LAHASKA, PA) May 10, 2007…Jazz up your weekend at the 23rd Annual Peddler’s Village Fine Arts & Contemporary Crafts Show, Saturday, June 2 and Sunday, June 3, 2007, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., rain or shine. Free admission and parking.
This annual celebration of the arts is an open-air treat for the senses. Discover a beautiful work of art among the many exhibits representing the region’s best artists and craftspeople. Enjoy the smooth sounds of the area’s finest jazz musicians, including Eric Mintel, Bucks County’s own Ambassador of Jazz.
More than 50 artists will exhibit and sell a variety of work including paintings, photography, wood creations, mixed media, jewelry, pottery, glasswork, fiber creations, and ceramics. Artists were juried in by a committee of art experts, ensuring only the highest quality of exhibited work.
The artists will man their own booths and some will demonstrate their craft, making it possible for visitors to observe the creative process. Judges will select show winners, awarding $2,000 in cash prizes. One artist will receive the Founders Award and Peddler’s Village will purchase his or her work for the Jamison Family’s art collection on permanent display in the Village.
The Village will swing with the sounds of live jazz throughout the weekend. On Saturday, enjoy the music of Eric Mintel Quartet, Michelle Wiley, Dan DeChellis, Bob Miles Duo and The Hazelrigg Brothers. On Sunday, the Scott Gurney Duo, The Hazelrigg Brothers and the Bob Miles Duo will perform.
Peddler’s Village is located at Routes 202 and Street Road in Lahaska.
