PEDDLER’S VILLAGE PRESENTS THE WINNERS OF…
THE 22ND ANNUAL QUILT COMPETITION AND DISPLAY
Quilts on Display in the Village Gazebo January 12 through April 5, 2009
(LAHASKA, PA) Jan. 12, 2009…From a “mad scientist” parody and an Asian print to a feline fantasy and a necktie patchwork, diverse designs and intricate details highlight the creations on display at the Peddler’s Village 22nd Annual Quilt Competition & Display.
More than 50 handmade quilts competed for over $1,500 in cash prizes in the categories of Traditional, Appliqué, Creative, Amish, Potluck, Student, KidsOnly! and Quilted Clothing. Quilts will be on public display in the Gazebo on the Main Green January 12 through April 5, 2009 during Village shopping hours. Admission is free.
This year’s judges were Judy Roche of Doylestown, PA., a lecturer, collector and historian of antique quilts and Corinne Kramer of Washington Crossing, PA, a local professional quilter.
